Effective Technique In Enders Game

Name one technique you feel the author successfully utilized in the first 4 chapters. In one sentence say what the technique is and how it is successfully used in the book
Dialogue is on of the major techniques in the book as it is used at the start of all the chapters and even though its a bit confusing at the start but it gives the reader a sort of insight to why Enders being watched and how he is doing and what they think of him.
Find at least two examples of this technique in different chapters
Two example of this are at the start of each chapter when the two soldiers are speaking and as well as during chapters when Ender speaks because most of the description in the book is in dialogue.

The author uses dialogue at the very start of each chapter and it's important because it lets the reader know what the soldiers are thinking about Ender and what they think about and the feelings that they feel towards Enders progress and what he has done lately. It also gives the reader some information on why Ender was chosen and why it wasn't someone else such as Peter and Valentine.
